Overview:
Oh, man.I love beer – particularly old-school European beers. One of my dreams as a designer was always (and still is) to design branding, labels, swag, etc. for brewery or a distillery... but I'll take a winery, too. A while ago, I came within a hair's breadth of ticking that particular box but, alas, it was not to be. The original aim was to create a label with a real "heritage" look that made it feel like the beer had been around for a long time. Considering my personal taste in beer, this was right up my alley, and I personally believe I nailed it. In the end, the client elected to go with something completely different from another designer. You win some, you lose some and all that, but I still think these look great, and it's a real bummer they never got made.
